Job Summary:

• Testing and Validation of New software

·          Testing & Validation of software for the new and existing features
·          Generating Test plans as per the new features.

• Daily testing of OTA, CAS function on different models

·          Testing of OTA on different models of boxes and daily report preparation

·          Testing of CAS Functions on different boxes and preparing daily reports.

• Maintaining Inventory of different models of boxes and their software

·          Inventory of all software of different models of the boxes playing on the Live chain.

·          Inventory of the boxes of different models.

• Test-Chain Maintenance and Update      

       -    Maintenance of the Open TV Streamer, Euroloader, Mux and Modulator on Test Chain.      
       -    Taking back up of the software of Test Chain equipments.

MAJOR CHALLENGES

·          Completion of projects before targeted date.

·          To ensure there is no adverse impact of any new feature on existing one and on the performance of STB as well as to make it better from other competitors.

·          Ensuring proper inter-intra departmental coordination which will be helpful for us to complete our goals on time.

KEY DECISIONS

·          Testing and maintenance of boxes when new projects are in pipeline & their features are different from the existing one.

·          Analyzing of problems and situations arising at the customer end.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

·         EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: PG- Diploma (Broadcast Technology) // B.Tech - Electronics &Communication.

·         RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: 1 year relevant experience.

·         PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS & BEHAVIOURS: Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, Adaptive and analytical by nature, team player.
